Leah made little secret of how much she is looking forward to moving her legal battle against Bravo forward with her statement.

Leah filed a discrimination complaint with Bravo earlier this year, alleging she was forced to miss her grandmother’s funeral due to filming commitments.

A lawsuit filed by McSweeney is said to be imminent, according to Page Six. 

An insider told the outlet Leah intends to go ‘all the way’ with Bravo and has no plans of settling.

‘She doesn’t want money through a settlement,’ the insider said. ‘She wants a trial. She wants [Bravo execs] in front of a jury.’

The lawsuit is said to have ‘sordid details’ that the network will be unable to hide as they will be detailed in court documents.

‘She wants to hold them accountable, but she also wants to move on,’ the source added.

The star is the latest star to speak out against Bravo, after Vanity Fair released a ‘deeply rooted’ investigation into the television network’s relationship with the Real Housewives franchise stars.

The death of her grandmother drove her into a severe depressive episode and she spent eight days in a psychiatric facility.

McSweeney was also deeply affected when producers for RHONY told her that viewers didn’t find her as likable sober as they did when she was drinking.

Specifically, McSweeney alleges that she was told ‘there was such a stark difference between [her] when [she was] drinking versus this season.’

She had been sober for nine years before a relapse in 2020.

McSweeney quit RHONY but later signed on to do RHUGT for $250,000 and found her fellow cast members encouraged her to drink.

‘I wish you were still drinking. That’s all,’ Marysol Patton admitted texting McSweeney before the Thailand trip.

Meanwhile, Gizelle Bryant asked her, ‘Like, if you drank this week, would that be a big deal?’

The attorney went on to say that McSweeney was offered support for her issues, but the reality TV star thinks those offers were ‘reneged on’ or not ‘offered in good faith.’
