At the Emmys 2025 on September 14, Nobody Wants This star Justine Lupe dished on her co-star Kristen Bell’s biohacking secrets, including a surprising trick to enjoy pasta and carbs without the weight gain.

Speaking exclusively to E! News’ Zuri Hall on the Emmys 2025 red carpet at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Lupe revealed, “The most surprising thing I’ve learned about Kristen is her obsession with biohacking. She’s on another level. Ask her about glucose levels or how to prep your body before eating a bowl of pasta, and she’s got answers.”
Bell, known for Veronica Mars, is a pro at biohacking—using supplements, dietary tweaks, and innovative techniques to optimize health. Lupe shared Bell’s go-to tip for carb lovers: “Before eating a bunch of carbs like pasta or bread, have some spinach, a leafy green, or something fibrous like Metamucil with a shot of apple cider vinegar. As for Nobody Wants This Season 2, Lupe said she tunes into creators Erin and Sara Foster’s podcast, The World’s First Podcast, to get into her character’s mindset, as the Netflix comedy is loosely inspired by the sisters. “Listening to them helps me tap into Sara’s voice and their dynamic,” she explained.
While we await the Best Comedy winner announcement (see the full list of nominees and winners [here]), Lupe already stole the show in a stunning, sheer Carolina Herrera gown with a plunging neckline. “I’ve had my eye on this dress since the runway,” she gushed. “I’m so grateful to wear it tonight.”
