Paul Gallen sports cuts on his face and elbow as he breaks cover after video emerged of wild pub brawl

Paul Gallen has broken cover for the first time since video emerged of him in the middle of a wild pub brawl, showing evidence of injuries including a wound over his eye.

Gallen left his home in Sydney’s south on Wednesday afternoon with his wife and four children, five days after he was filmed being restrained in a hotel on the NSW south coast.

The 42-year-old State of Origin legend appeared to have suffered a cut above his right eye, marks on his forehead and right cheek and abrasions to his left elbow.

Gallen quickly put on sunglasses when he realised he was being photographed, barely 24 hours after Daily Mail Australia published footage of the brawl.
